Sensei Gabi, owner and main instructor of HAITO Karate, hails from Lithuania and has been enriching the UK with her martial arts expertise since 2014. Fluent in English and Lithuanian, her classes, conducted primarily in English, are peppered with Japanese karate terminology.
Her martial arts voyage began in 2004, leading to a distinguished career in Kyokushin Karate, renowned for its rigorous full-contact sparring. Gabi has earned national and European championships, along with Black Belts in Kyokushin Karate and Shinkyu Martial Arts. Her unique teaching approach blends traditional karate with practical self-defence techniques, tailored to empower students with confidence, focus, and discipline.
Described as disciplined, knowledgeable and dynamic, Gabi’s instructional style is both engaging and structured, successfully nurturing students from novices to accomplished martial artists. In 2022, she launched HAITO Karate in Peterborough, offering a fresh and effective martial arts learning environment.
